Dr. Evans another of TSBME's "experts" is immune from discipline even though his testimony was 96% wrong during the SOAH hearing

Formal complaint filed against Arthur Evans MD regarding:
1) Unprofessional conduct that is likely to deceive, defraud, or injure the public
2) Inability to practice medicine with reasonable skill and safety

I am submitting a formal complaint with the TSBME secondary to findings from the Proposal for Decision SOAH docket No. 503-02-3656 CONCLUSION OF LAW number 8 as well as the Board Order signed by the President of the TSBME which states “Staff failed to establish that Dr. Chalifoux violated an accepted medical standard of care in his treatment of patients TL, ML, JS, GB, PR, TT, BR, HS, CP, or EA”.
Dr. Evans testified for the staff of the TSBME that Dr. Chalifoux had violated the standard of care in these 10 patients.
Either Dr. Evans was unethical and testified knowing full well that Dr. Chalifoux had in fact followed the standard of care or Dr. Evans does not know what the standard of care was in the treatment of these ten (10) patients and needs to take remedial CME after having his license suspended.
No one should be immune from being investigated when the information and testimony he gave is so contrary to what was actually found. Additionally, Dr. Evans had a responsibility as a hired medical expert to give answers and testimony in ways which represent the way in which he would have treated these patients his own. Having said that, it is painfully obvious that Dr. Evans would have in fact caused danger and physical damage had he treated these same ten patients his way. It is now incumbent on him to defend his treatment modalities which are “below the standard of care”.
I look forward to the results of your inquiry.

Sincerely,

Roland Chalifoux Jr.DO
