How the TSBME tries to protect some doctors

Dr. Ash was initially fined $2,500 for removing the wrong Kidney from a patient even though documents indicate that she never needed surgery in the first place. Nonetheless, Dr. Ash was initially fined $2,500 . After several letters of complaint, the TSBME then went ahead and fined him an additional $3,000 because of public pressure.
