Dear Ms. Schreiber:
I have known Dr. Chalifoux for approximately 5 years. I am an anesthesiologist and pain physician. I have sent many patients to Dr. Chalifoux for neurosurgical consultation. He has operated quite expertly on many of those patients. Several were very complicated second procedure patients such as “redo backs.” To my knowledge all have had good outcomes. He has operated on patients who other physicians would not attempt to help.
I would not hesitate to refer my wife to Dr. Chalifoux for his care. I have been quite distressed at his current situation. I testified at his hearing after reviewing several of the cases which, in my opinion, involved several issues in the field of anesthesiology.
I have extensive experience in my field and all of the appropriate boards. Please see below. I was chairman of a large county hospital Department of Anesthesiology. We performed over 10,000 cases/year. I held that position for over 13 years. Thus I have witnessed many operators and Roland Chalifoux is proficient and expert.
Lastly, he is an honest and pleasant human being.
Please contact me at the above address if I may provide further data about Roland Chalifoux, Jr, DO.
Thanks for your kind consideration of this matter.
Sincerely.
